National Trafficking Sheltered Alliance
The National Trafficking Sheltered Alliance is a network of service providers committed to enhancing services and increasing access to care for survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
We provide various mental health services for individuals, groups, and couples. We also provide family therapy and community presentations surrounding various areas of interest. We work with many different challenges including trauma, grief, LGBTQ, domestic violence, self-injury, sexual assault, physical assault, suicidal thoughts, divorce, self-discovery, anger management, transgender transitions, anxiety, eating disorders, adjustment challenges and others.
Sonya Paramore, LPC is a Christian Counselor in the St. Louis area specializing in grief, trauma, and narcissistic abuse. All of Sonya's therapy sessions are done online via her telehealth client portal. Sonya is able to provide therapy to those who reside in the State of Missouri.
Our mission is to assist survivors and their children in learning to overcome the cycle of physical, sexual, mental, and emotional abuse. We do this by providing a 24/7 hotline, emergency shelter, court & general advocacy, safety planning, economic empowerment, counseling, substance abuse advocacy, and resource education.
Has someone threatened to distribute your private pictures online if you don't provide money or favors? This is SEXTORTION and here's what to do:
1. Know this is not your fault and you are not alone.
2. Take control and stop responding immediately. Get help instead of paying money or otherwise complying with the blackmailer.
3. Talk with someone you trust. Text "THORN" to 741741 to confidentially speak with a trained counselor.
4. Save everything. Block the blackmailer, but do not delete your profile or messages.
5. Report sextortion to the platform where it happened.
6. Report sextortion to NCMEC's Cybertipline at report.cybertip.org
7. Change all of your passwords.
8. Remember that it will be okay, and there is hope to get to the other side. You are not alone.
